We’re thrilled to bring you the latest update on Riverbed Hunt! Let’s dive right into the details:

Shipping Progress 🚚

• Greece: All copies (except some of those designated for local pickup) have been shipped! Most of you should have received them by now, but if you haven’t, don’t hesitate to reach out, and we’ll get it sorted ASAP.

• USA: All copies were shipped on Tuesday (October 21st, 2024), and many of you already have your games in hand! Our partner delivered so quickly that we didn’t even have time to send out tracking numbers. If your copy hasn’t arrived yet, it’s on its way! If you’d like your tracking number, just shoot us a message here on Kickstarter.

• Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia: Shipping will begin on November 1st! Thank you for your patience—your games are on their way soon!

• Europe: Great news! Our partner confirmed that shipping started yesterday (October 24th, 2024) and all packages will be out of their hands by today. Expect your tracking numbers soon!

Spellenspektakel Announcement 🎲

We’re sad to announce that, due to personal reasons, we won’t be able to attend Spellenspektakel this year. For those who selected local pickup for the event, we will be reaching out to ask for your address, and we’ll cover the shipping costs ourselves. Additionally, if you had chosen local pickup with a shipping refund, we’ll make sure to both ship the game to you and refund your shipping costs.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and truly appreciate your understanding. But don’t worry—we’ll definitely see you next year at our favorite convention in the Netherlands! We can’t wait to be back.

Essen Spiel 2024 Recap 🎉

We just wrapped up our second Essen Spiel, and what an incredible experience it was! It was an absolute pleasure to meet so many of you in person and hand-deliver your Kickstarter pledges! We also got to reconnect with old friends like Stella from Meeple University and made new ones like Board Game Dad and Jeremy.

The energy, enthusiasm, and sense of community were truly inspiring, and we left with our hearts full and our minds buzzing with new ideas (more on that below!). We can’t wait to come back next year!

What’s Next? 🔥

We’ve been cooking up something exciting! Based on the amazing feedback we received at Essen Spiel, we’re already working on our next project. We can’t reveal too much just yet, but rest assured, it’s going to be something special. Stay tuned for more details in the near future—you’ll be the first to know!

Hello, Tritons!

We are thrilled to announce that the games have officially arrived, and we couldn’t be more excited to start fulfilling your orders!

Here’s the latest news on what’s happening next:

🚚 Shipping Starts Soon!

Shipping will begin on September 16th, for Greece, and soon thereafter for the rest of Europe. So we’re locking orders on September 15th. Please make sure your shipping information is up to date by then. After the 15th, we won’t be able to make changes to your order details. If some of you need more time, contact us and we will postpone locking your order. If we don't hear from you by September 15th, we will assume that you need no changes to your shipping details.

🇺🇸 A Note for Our U.S. Backers:

For our backers in the United States, shipping will require a bit more time. We need to send a bulk shipment to our US fulfillment partner, who will then handle distribution. This means shipping to the US will take a little longer than for other regions. We appreciate your patience and will keep you updated along the way!

📍 Local Pickup Options:

For anyone who has selected local pickup, we’ll be reaching out to you shortly with a list of all available pickup locations in Greece, the Netherlands, and Germany. We’ll make sure you have all the details you need to get your game as soon as possible!

🎉 Pick Up at Essen Spiel 2024 – Booth 3F612!

Since we’ll be at Essen Spiel 2024 in less than a month, you have the option to pick up your game in person if you’ll also be attending. If you’d like to switch to local pickup at Essen, there’s still time! Simply update your shipping address to local pickup, and we’ll refund your shipping costs in cash when you collect your game at our booth at Essen Spiel 2024.

Our booth number at Essen will be 3F612, so be sure to mark it on your map and come by to meet the team and pick up your game!

We’re reaching out to share the latest developments regarding Riverbed Hunt. As we venture through the complexities of our very first production, our commitment to delivering a game that meets all our quality standards has required more time than initially anticipated. Navigating this process has been a learning curve, and we appreciate your understanding as we strive to ensure that every detail is perfect.

We’re thrilled to announce that production has successfully concluded! The games are set to begin their journey across the seas this week! We’re targeting a mid-September arrival for the games, with shipping to backers starting shortly thereafter. We’re making every effort to minimize delays and ensure that you can enjoy Riverbed Hunt as soon as possible.

For our enthusiastic backers planning to attend Essen Spiel 2024, we have some exciting news! There will be an opportunity to pick up your game directly from us at the convention and meet the team behind its creation. We’ll share more details about our presence at Essen Spiel, and other European conventions, in an upcoming update.

Pre-Production Copy Arrived – Mass Production Begins!

Dear members of the Triton Society,

As promised, we are back with a few yet exciting updates! Yes, the pre-production copy of Riverbed Hunt finally arrived a couple of weeks ago, and we can't hide our enthusiasm as we watch our vision come to life, step by step. Thank you all for your incredible patience; we truly believe the wait will be worth it once you have the final product in your hands. Before we dive into the details, we want to clarify that the images below do not represent the final version of the game just yet.

Pre-Production Copy Sample

We are very pleased with the overall quality of our Pre-Production Copy. The component sizes are as expected, and everything fits into the box perfectly, including sleeved cards. But don't take our word for it! Have a look for your self! 

However, while thoroughly inspecting each component, we noticed a slight color difference in some of them. Our manufacturing partner has reassured us that this is due to the PPC being a digital print and that the final product will utilize offset printing for more precise color and component cutting. Additionally, we found some minor issues with the double-layered track board, but all are quickly and easily fixable. Our only real concerns were the following:

• The track counter icons need to be resized as they are currently hard to recognize.
• The white color on the chip markers is overly bright, giving them a non-finalized appearance. We have already picked a shade that better fits the game's overall aesthetics and requested a matte finish for the chip stickers to avoid a “cheap” look, (pun intended).

Aside from these points, everything looks and feels great, and we hope you agree!

Shipping Update

We want to be transparent with you about the project timeline. The preparation of the game files and the ongoing communication with our manufacturer have taken longer than expected. As a result, we are currently reassessing our shipping schedule and expect to announce a new timeline soon. We are committed to keeping you updated every step of the way and are exploring ways to compensate for this delay to show our appreciation for your continued patience and support.

What’s Next

Having said that, we are pleased to share that we have already completed the necessary revisions and have officially given the order for mass production to begin. We are moving forward with confidence and are excited to enter this final phase of production. Rest assured, we are closely monitoring every step of the process to ensure that everything meets our high standards and your expectations.

We understand the importance of transparency and will continue to provide timely updates as we progress. We are doing everything we can to ensure that your wait will be as short as possible and that the final product will bring you much joy and satisfaction.

PPC News & FREE Wallpapers!

Dear members of the Triton Society,

Four months have passed since the Riverbed Hunt campaign, and it still feels like yesterday! Time flies, doesn't it? It has been quiet around here for some time, and we truly appreciate your patience. Having said that, we decided to "skip" an update since we did not have much news to share about the game's production. We know we promised to keep you updated, but at the same time, we value everyone's time and do not want to send updates for the sake of it, without being able to provide any interesting information. With all that being said, let us give you the details about Riverbed Hunt's current state.

PPC (Pre-Production Copy) News

We won't lie, as we mentioned in our last update, preparing and finalizing all the digital files needed for print took us more time than anticipated. Since it's our first time going through this process, we've realized that each step of this back-and-forth proofing process uncovers minor issues, and delays were unavoidable. Unfortunately, we missed our Chinese New Year deadline, so we had to wait for the Chinese holidays to conclude before the production process could continue. The good news is that the files have finally been sent to our manufacturing partner, and we recently received the digital proofs from their factory. Over the last few days, we've been double-checking these digital proofs and, fortunately, no issues were found this time. That means we are now patiently waiting for the physical PPC to be sent to us for final approval before mass production. As soon as the copy arrives, we promise to show you a couple of photos of the components to share the excitement! Thank you once again for your patience and understanding; it means a lot to our small team.
